This is modern remake of the movie "Ringu" based on a novel by Koji Suzuki. It is about this video, which supposedly kills you in seven days if you watch it. Four young people watch the video and end up dying. Rachel, a journalist, goes out and researches this mysterious video. Soon, she is fighting to find out the truth to the matter about this video as her son and lover have now seen it. Her quest ends up leading her to a remote island, where the mystery starts to unveil itself.
