Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Message in a Bottle
Based on the Nicholas Sparks novel, MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE is a movie directed by Luis Mandoki in 1999.

Theresa finds a message in a bottle while jogging near the Atlantic ocean. After a few researches, she learns that the writer of the message is Garret Blak,e whom she decides to meet. For two years now, Garret is mourning for his wife's death and is taking care of his alcoholic father. Garret and Theresa fall in love but Garret can not forget his late wife.
