This is the story of Lucy (Bullock) who is a protestor and wants to keep a building in New York standing, but George Wade's enterprise is going to knock it down. So she goes to Wade himself (Grant) and tells him her plans. he ends up making her his secretary person saying that she can cancel the destruction if she works for him. She does an excellent job, but gets tired of Wade's petty grievences. So she decides to give her two weeks notice so she can leave. She starts to train a new secretary and finds that when she is flirting with him, she gets a little jealous. Thus, the love triange starts. She ends up getting him in the end as you've no doubt figured out already. Very cute.
