Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Bus Stop
BUS STOP is a movie directed by Joshua Logan in 1956. Don Murray earned a nomination in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category.

Don Murray leaves his ranch in Montana in order to take part in the Phoenix rodeo. His friend Arthur O'Connell hopes that Don will also meet the right girl in Arizona. Don falls madly in love with the first girl he meets there : the saloon singer Marilyn Monroe. The poor girl, afraid of Don's cowboy manners, is literally kidnapped by the young man and is desperately searching for a way to get out of the bus heading to Montana.
