Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Twilight
TWILIGHT is a movie cowritten and directed by Robert Benton in 1998.

For two years now, ex-policeman Harry Ross has been living at the Ames's home. The Ames are an aging couple of actors who had their share of success once. Harry's secretly in love with Catherine while being a close friend of Jack Ames. He discovers that Jack is being blackmailed by someone accusing him and Catherine of having murdered Catherine's first husband 20 years before. As the blackmailers are killed, Newman understands that the Ames's secret also concerns a third party.
