Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Trouble in Paradise
TROUBLE IN PARADISE is a movie directed by Ernst Lubitsch in 1932. This picture can be considered as the first, and maybe the best, romantic comedy shot in Hollywood.

Two international thieves, Marshall and Hopkins, settle in Paris. They fix their choice on Madame Collet, a wealthy woman who soon hires Marshall and Hopkins in her staff. Marshall and Madame Collet fall in love but Hopkins wants his partner back.
