Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Last Dragon
This movie is packed with action sequences displayed by the main character, Leroy Green (Taimak). On his quest to find his "master," Leroy is caught between rivalry and romance. He has never been in love before and now falls for Laura Charles (Vanity), a local DJ/video queen/singer whom he must protect from the city's video game king, Eddie Arkadian. Arkadian will do anything to get his way, even kill if he had to; he wants Ms. Charles to air ridiculous music videos of his girlfriend but Ms. Charles refuses. Now the only thing coming between Eddie Arkadian and Laura Charles is Leroy, who happened to be at the right place at the right time. The ultimate showdown eventually occurs between Leroy and Sho'nuff (Julius J. Carry III), the city tough guy who has been waiting for his chance to destroy Leroy, but will he prevail? Will Laura find romance with her superhero, Leroy?
--Anonymous in OC, Resident Scholar

Bruce LeeRoy is possibly considered the best martial artist in Harlem, New York... but don't tell that to Sho'nuff (Julius J. Carry III), the self-proclaimed "Shogun of Harlem." Each individual stands in the way of the other.
