| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Hair |
HAIR is a movie directed by Milos Forman in 1979.
Coming from Oklahoma, Claude has just arrived in New-York to enlist in the army. We are in the middle of the Vietnam war. During the two days he'll spend in NYC, his life will change forever. He makes the acquaintance of Berger and his friends, a group of hippies, who'll show to Claude the meaning of the word liberty and try to convince him that it's wrong to go kill yellow people on the other side of the earth. He'll also fall in love with Sheila, a young member of the NYC high bourgeoisie, who's attracted by the way of life of the group. When Claude finally enlists, his friends will make follow him to Nevada for a final goodbye.
