| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Johnny Handsome |
Based on John Godey novel, JOHNNY HANDSOME is a movie directed by Walter Hill in 1989.
John Sedley's face is deformed and John survives by taking part in heists. But, in the middle of a robbery, his partners Rafe and Sunny kill his friend Mickey and leave him alone on the crime scene. Condemned to 5 years in a penitentiary, John is transferred to Dr. Fisher's department and is successfully operated. John is given the opportunity to work at day on a shipyard where he meets Donna, a young accountant. Once paroled, still dreaming of revenge, John will organize the robbery of the shipyard he's working in and take as partners for the job the same Rafe and Sunny who betrayed him.
