| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Cat Chaser |
Based on Elmore Leonard novel, CAT CHASER is a movie directed by Abel Ferrara in 1989.
Peter Weller is a marine who took part in the U.S. intervention in the Dominican Republic in the sixties. He owns now an hotel in Miami Beach and is still haunted by this period of his life. He's contacted by Kelly McGillis whom he was in love with a few years before and who's now the wife of Tomas Milian, an ancient south american torturer based in Miami. Both rekindle their previous relation but Charles Durning, Milian's henchman, proposes them to help him to steal Milian's cash hidden in his house. But Milian is aware now of his wife's infidelity and he is not happy at all. Will Weller and McGillis survive Milian's revenge and Durning's duplicity ?
