| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy |
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S SEX COMEDY is a movie written and directed by Woody Allen in 1982.
Woody Allen and his wife Mary Steenburgen are welcoming in their country mansion the professor José Ferrer and his much younger bride Mia Farrow for their last week-end before the marriage. Also present is doctor Tony Roberts, a womanizer who's come with one of his nurses. Woody and Mia had a short affair years before, Tony Roberts will suffer from the love at first sight syndrome when meeting Mia Farrow and the professor Ferrer is not insensitive to the sexy charm of the nurse Julie Hagerty.
