Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Naked Lunch
Based partially on William Burroughs novel, NAKED LUNCH is a movie written and directed by David Cronenberg in 1991. The picture earned a nomination for the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.

A few months in the life of Peter Weller, a writer with a strong drug problem. Hallucinations involving all kinds of bugs leads him to Tanger, Algeria where he'll meet a couple of American writers. Weller, despite the facts that his typewriters regularly change themselves into beetles or cochroaches, tries to describe on paper his experiments. He will also have to face, during this trip in the "Interzone", his latent homosexuality.
