| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Thousand Eyes of Dr. Mabuse |
THE 1000 EYES OF DR. MABUSE is a movie cowritten and directed by Fritz Lang in 1960.
Scientists and economists are murdered in Europe. All the victims had stayed at the Luxor Hotel in Berlin before being killed. Kommissar Gert Fröbe is charged with the investigation and is helped by the clairvoyant Cornelius. Could it be that Dr. Mabuse, a genius in crime who died 20 years before, is still alive? In any case, someone has placed cameras in each room of the Luxor hotel and is attentively spying upon the hotel's guests.
