Wings of Desire is a movie directed by Wim Wenders in 1987.
The movie centers on two angels, Damiel and Cassiel, who along with many other angels, watch over us and give us inspiration. One day Damiel meets up with a trapieze artist Marion and falls in love. Damiel is confused and no longer whats to be an angel. Peter Falk give him some advcse along the way. Damiel then makes the choice to become human and exist with Marion on Earth.

WINGS OF DESIRE (Der Himmel über Berlin) is a movie written and directed by Wim Wenders in 1987. Wenders won for this picture the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival and at the European Film Awards.
The setting is Berlin, Germany. Bruno Ganz is only one of the many angels who are listening to the secret thoughts of the people of Berlin. His secret desire is to experience what humans feel. So when he crosses the path of Marion, a trapeze artist, germs of love will grow inside him.
