| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Fear City |
Written by Nicholas St. John, FEAR CITY is a movie directed by Abel Ferrara in 1984.
Tom Berenger runs a talent agency supplying young strippers to NYC night-clubs. He will soon be out of business if the knife-killer who has begun to slash young strippers in the street is not quickly arrested. Meanwhile, we are invited to follow the killer's point of view whose idea is to deliver NYC from the criminals and the easy-going young girls in order to reach Purity. Berenger, a former boxer, decides to resume training in order to be fit when he'll confront the public enemy.
