Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Nightmare on the 13th Floor
Michele Greene plays a writer for a travel magazine on assignment at the acclaimed Wessex Hotel. While riding the service lift, she sees a man being murdered on an unmarked 13th floor illuminated by gas lamps and decorated with strange things. As several guests begin to disappear, Elaine (the writer) becomes increasingly more involved with this murder mystery. The hotel doctor (James Brolin) and the staff at the hotel, all tell her she must have hallucinated the murder because there is no 13th floor. Now, Elaine must team up with a bad-tempered cop (John Karlen) to find out about the Nightmare on the 13th Floor.
