Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps
In this comedy an obese professor has an alter ego named Buddy Love. Buddy Love is inside the professor's body and is trying to control him. The professor is able to extract Buddy from his body, but as a result he begins to lose his intelligence. To make matters worse the professor is about to get married and he has to make an important presenation to a pharmaseutical team. Now the professor has to get Buddy back into his body to return to normal.
--Jack Bauer, Resident Scholar

Eddie Murphy is the best in the business when it comes to portraying multiple characters in the same movie. In this sequel to The Nutty Professor, he plays Dr. Sherman Klump (and his entire family, too!) as well as his wicked alter ego, Buddy Love. Janet Jackson is also brilliant as Dr. Klump's fiancee. This is a funny movie from beginning to end, and it's also where Eddie Murphy excels.
