| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Cinderella (1997) |
An all-star cast is evident in this remake of a classic fairy tale in wich Cinderella meets Prince Charming and falls in love with him. Besides Brandy and Whitney Houston (who are both New Yorkers!), the film also stars Whoopi Goldberg (another New York native), Bernadette Peters and Jason Alexander, to name a few. Brandy sparkles in the title role, and Houston shines as her fairy godmother. And they sing a memorable duet, entitled Impossible Things are Happening Every Day.
