Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Mary & Rhoda
This movie combines aspects of The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spinoff, Rhoda. The two title characters are reunited in New York City, and they're beginning to grow closer to their daughters. One friend is going through a messy divorce, while the other is widowed. They're also struggling to find work in news production and photography. But their enduring friendship shines through in the movie, just as it did in those classic 1970s TV series.
