| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Little Big League |
When his grandfather dies, Luke Edwards' character inherits the Minnesota Twins, since his grandfather was the owner of the ballclub. The kid then runs the franchise, both in the front office and the dugout, after he fires the Twins' manager for being so mean. He leads the team into the playoffs where they face Ken Griffey Jr., Randy Johnson and the Seattle Mariners. And although the Twins lose that game, the kid is already a hero in Minneapolis-St. Paul. The Metrodome sells out quite frequently, and he's very popular at his school.
