| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Any Given Sunday |
Al Pacino plays the coach, and Cameron Diaz is the pretty but sometimes corrupt team owner in this film. Dennis Quaid, Jamie Foxx and LL Cool J provide the laughs as Pacino's players. LL has some expertise in this field, since he played an ex-football player in the sitcom In the House. In a battle of good vs. evil, the players expose their owner's dishonest schemes, and they play their hearts out on the field. While the owner will not exactly remind you of the one from the Major League movies, she's still evil in a lot of ways, and her players find ways to show her up by giving their 110% on the football field.
