Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Man's Favorite Sport?
MAN'S FAVORITE SPORT is a movie produced and directed by Howard Hawks in 1964.

Roger Willoughby is a happy man; he's a salesman very appreciated by his boss and his book about fishing is a real success. The only problem is that Roger has never gone fishing in his entire life. So when he's asked, nicely but firmly, to take part in a fishing tournament at a lake near San Francisco, his day is ruined. Furthermore, the marketing director of this event, Abigail Page, has decided to teach fishing to Roger in only three days, and when Abigail decides something, it has to be done. At the end of the week, Roger will have lost his girlfriend and his job, still be unable to fish but the naive young man will be caught in Abigail's net.
