| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Vincent, François, Paul and the Others |
VINCENT, FRANCOIS, PAUL AND THE OTHERS is a movie cowritten and directed by Claude Sautet in 1974.
This is the story of a group of middle-aged friends who see each other every week-ends at Paul's house in the country.
Everyone of them has doubts about his life ; there is François, a doctor who's given up the social ideas of his youth for a wealthy practice, there is Paul, a journalist, who is unable to finish writing the novel he's begun years before. At last, there is Vincent, the head of the group, a small businessman who's got three days to find money in order to save his factory.
