MADO is a movie co-written and directed by Claude Sautet in 1976. The picture earned three nominations for the French Academy Awards.

A few days in the life of Simon, an important real estate promoter, trying to find money in order to thwart the mean promoter Julien Guiomar. Meanwhile, Simon is seeing Mado, a young woman who's occasionally working as a prostitute. Simon doesn't understand why Mado refuses to give up her "job" in order to live a more secure life with him.
