Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Les Biches
LES BICHES, sometimes translated as "The Does", "Bad Girls" or "Girlfriends" in English speaking coutries, is a movie written and directed by Claude Chabrol in 1968. Stéphane Audran won the Silver Bear in the Best Actress category at the 1968 Berlin International Film Festival.

Frédérique, a wealthy member of the bourgeoisie of the French Riviera, brings back home the young artist named "Why" she's encountered in Paris. Both women, bisexual, enjoy the slightly decadent life of Saint-Tropez.

When Why spends the night with the architect Jean-Louis Trintignant, Frédérique decides at first to seduce him for fun but she falls in love with him. Why, for whom Trintignant was her first sexual experience with a man, withdraws into herself.
