| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Les Bonnes Femmes |
LES BONNES FEMMES, sometimes known as "The Girls", "The Good Girls" or even "The Good Time Girls" in english speaking countries is a movie directed by Claude Chabrol in 1960. The picture is one of the emblems of the french New Wave.
Three girls, working in the same place, try to find love in the Paris of 1960. While Bernadette Lafont is flirting with almost every man in sight, Clotilde Joano is dreaming of the perfect and romantic love. She's persuaded that the man who's following her for a few days now is the one. When she finally gets the chance to meet him, she unfortunately cannot imagine that Mario is a killer looking for his next prey.
