| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Mélo |
MELO is a movie directed by Alain Resnais in 1986. The picture earned 8 nominations (and won 2 of them) for the French Academy Awards.
Sabine Azéma falls madly in love with her husband's best friend, the world famous violonist André Dussollier. She will try her best to hide this situation to Arditi whom she also loves but differently. The tension is soon too strong for the young woman who'll commit suicide after having sent a letter to her husband.
