| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about High Sierra |
Written by John Huston, HIGH SIERRA is a Warner production directed by Raoul Walsh in 1941.
Roy Earle must thank the man responsible for his release from prison by taking part in a robbery. His partners are amateurs and are killed in an car accident just after having robbed the jewels from the safe of a famous hotel. Roy and Ida Lupino, the young woman who's fallen in love with him, must now hide from the police forces, waiting for the right moment to collect their share from the hold-up.
