Kate is a business women in New York who works with commercials. Leopold also lives in New York and hasn't had to work a day in his life. The thing is, he lives back in time about one hundred years. It will take Kate's bumbling ex-boyfriend/upstairs neighbor to bring them together when he finds a time portal. Kate soon discovers she's in love with Leopold, but she doesn't immediately believe he's from back in time. Soon however, she comes to realize it. Leopold has to return to his own time. Kate, at first, wants to stay. After all, her boss does have a romantic interest in her and is giving her a promotion. The thing is she also loves Leopold. Will she choose to remain in the present or go back with Leopold?
