| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Perched on a Tree |
PERCHED ON A TREE (Sur un Arbre Perché)is a movie cowritten and directed by Serge Korber in 1971.
Henri Roubier takes two hitch-hikers on his way back to Paris. He's driving too fast and his car leaves the road, tumbling down a breathtakingly high cliff. When they recover from the fall, they become aware that their car is perched on a tree in the middle of the rock face, overhanging the Mediterranean sea.
For five days, Roubier and the two young people, will have to be extremely careful not to move the car, to deal with thirst and hunger and to find a way to make the world become aware of their situation. Hilarious.
