Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy play a couple of vagrants who take refuge in a seemingly deserted mansion. When a couple of prospective tenants (Thelma Todd and Charles Gerrard) turn up, Oliver is forced to play Colonel Buckshot, the owner of the mansion, while Stan essays the role of Agnes, the maid.
