THE GENDARME GETS MARRIED (Le Gendarme se Marie) is a movie written and directed by Jean Girault in 1968. This is the third installment in the "Gendarme" saga.
Cruchot falls in love with Josépha, the widow of a Colonel. At first, this liaison doesn't please Nicole, Cruchot's 17 years old daughter but both women finally get along. When Josépha asks Cruchot to pass the exam to become Chief Adjudant, Michel Galabru, Cruchot's Chief, is not happy at all.
