Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Party Girl
Mary is a Manhattan party girl who throws one party too many. Her illegal bash lands her in prison, and, penniless, she is forced to appeal to her godmother, Judith, for bail money. Instead of just handing over the cash, Judith, a librarian, forces Mary to take a job at the library and pay back her debt. After many comical foibles, Mary begins to learn some responsibility.
