| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Anything Else |
Jerry Falk is a young comedy writer who hasn't had sex with his girlfriend, Amanda, for a ridiculously long time. Under the tutelage of his mentor, David Dobel, Jerry is both guided and misguided. He begins to reassess his life, firing his manager and breaking it off with Amanda, who he discovers has been cheating on him anyway. Jerry must decide whether or not to leave New York with David, taking a job as a team of television writers in Hollywood.
