| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about A Tale of Winter |
A TALE OF WINTER (Conte d'Hiver) is a movie written and directed by Eric Rohmer in 1991. This film was nominated for the Golden Bear and won two special prizes at the 1992 Berlin Film Festival.
During a holiday, Félicie falls in love with Charles. Unfortunately, the young girl gives a wrong address in Paris to Charles who'll be unable to contact her a few days later. Pregnant, Félicie will give birth to a little Elise.
Five years later, Félicie hesitates between following her boss Maxence in Nevers and marry him or staying with Loïc, a young man with whom she lived during the last years. In fact, Felicie is still thinking about her child's father, Charles, and has never given the hope to meet him in the streets by chance.
