Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Heist
HEIST is a movie written and directed by David Mamet in 2001.

Gene Hackman is an aging thief who wants to retire after having robbed a jewelry store. But Danny DeVito, his sleeping partner, forces Hackman to work one more time for him by keeping his share of the proceeds.

So Hackman and his partners, in the company of DeVito's nephew as a guard dog, prepare the audacious heist of a load of gold in an airfreighter at the local airport. But, in fact, neither Hackman nor DeVito has any intention of splitting the gold which will change owner several times during the following days before the dramatic final between the two adversaries.
