AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON is a movie written and directed by John Landis in 1981. Rick Baker earned for this film the Academy Award in the Best Makeup category.
While visiting the North of England, two young american tourists are attacked by a werewolf. Only David survives this event. Transferred to a London hospital, David suffers from recurrent nightmares and hallucinations involving his dead friend Jack who tells him he'll also become a werewolf on the next full moon.
