| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Dead or Alive 2 : Birds |
DEAD OR ALIVE 2: THE BIRDS is a movie directed by Takashi Miike in 2000.
Orphans Mizuki and Shuuichi grew up together on a Japanese island. Twenty years later, they meet again by chance in Tokyo while trying, each on his side, to murder the same mob boss. After the completion of this hit, both retire for a while on the island of their youth, meeting two other comrades of the orphanage there.
Mizuki proposes to his friend to become his partner in crime providing that the money they'll earn will be given to charitable works. Back in Osaka, both friends team up and start killing the bad guys of the city.
