| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Dogma |
When Loki and Bartleby, two ex-angels, try to re-enter heaven- and so destroy all of existence- God is nowhere to be found. So the Metatron, Voice of God, is forced to call upon Bethany Sloane, an abortion clinic worker and last descendant of Christ. She bands up with an unlikely crew including Rufus the 13th Apostle, Serendipity- an ex-muse, and unlikely prophets Jay and Silent Bob.
It becomes a race across country and against time to reach the angels before they can attempt to get back to heaven.
