| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Net |
Computer expert, Angela Bennett (Sandra Bullock), heads off to Mexico for a well-deserved vacation, only to discover that information given to her by a recently-deceased colleague has made her the target of an elaborate scheme to not only eliminate her, but her entire identity as well. The movie capitalizes on technophobia, but also delicately touches on philosophical notions of identity and society as well.
