| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Breakfast of Champions |
Bruce Willis stars as Dwayne Hoover, a car salesman who is slowing coming unglued. Unsatisfied with life around him, including his cross dressing coworker, effeminate son, and alcoholic wife, he tries desperately to find something to bring meaning to his crumbling world. His salvation, or so he believes, comes in the form of author Kilgore Trout (Finney), who is traveling to Hoover's hometown to give a speech.
