British Secret Agent John Preston discovers that a Ministry of Defence worker is selling secrets to Russian agent. After catching the worker, Preston is sent to work in another section. After a accident at a docks where a man was runover, Preston uncovers a plot by the KGB to sneak a nuclear weapon into Great Britian and dentonate it on a U.S. airbase. Preston races against tim to stop the agent, Valeri Petrofsky, who is posing as James Edward Ross. Preston finds Petrofsky and stops him, just to have him killed by his bosses men. Preston finds out it was a set-up, and he was the pawn in the plan.
