| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Desperate Hours |
DESPERATE HOURS is a Dino De Laurentiis production directed by Michael Cimino in 1990.
Helped by his lawyer Kelly Lynch, Mickey Rourke, a psychotic criminal, escapes from the court. With his brother Elias Koteas and David Morse, he shuts himself away into the Cornell mansion in order to wait for Kelly Lynch. For several hours, the kidnapped Cornell family will have to live with the presence of these three men.
Meanwhile, FBI officer Lindsay Crouse, who's always suspected Kelly Lynch to have helped Rourke's escape, waits for the lawyer to make her first mistake. She'll finally learn of Rourke's location and try to stop the criminals without endangering the Cornell's family.
