Review Summary and Plot Commentary about A Man Apart
Vin Diesel delivers an impressive dramatic performance as Sean Vetter, an undercover narcotics officer who has successfully brought down the Mexican cartel's top drug lord. The new man in town known as Diablo tries to show his power by putting a hit out on Vetter but Vetter's wife(Jacqueline Obradors) gets caught in the crossfire and dies in his arms. His mission is now one of revenge, he turns in his badge and sets out to take down Diablo his own way. Vin Diesel does an excellent job of portraying "a man apart", you see his internal struggle as he deals with his wife's death and going after the man who killed her.
