Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Bachelor Mother
Polly Parrish is a temporary employee of Merlin's department store for the holiday season, and is let go. After finding an abandoned baby no one will believe she is not its mother, and she is given her old job back by the department store owner's son who desires to keep the young woman's home a happy one. The two eventually fall for one another, and through a series of mix-ups, the young man is mistaken for the child's father. Polly gives up trying to convince the world that the baby is not hers, as she grows extremely attatched to the six-month-old, agreeing to marry the boss's son and start a real family.
