| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Bad Seed |
Seemingly living the perfect life, with a loving husband and "perfect" daughter,Christine, a housewife, learns of her daughter's complete amorality. Her little Rhoda has drowned a schoolmate in the lake for winning a medal she believed belonged to her, and Christine finds an old woman and the janitor were also killed by the sadistic child. No one believes the frustrated mother, because Rhoda puts on such a sweet and perfect facade, lying and cheating to get away with her crimes. Out of frustration, Christine attempts suicide and fails, but Rhoda's fate is yet to be decided.
