Bookie enforcer Beck (The Rock) Makes a deal to retrieve his boss's son Travis (Sean William Scott) who is looking for an ancient statue in a small South American gold mining town. The town slave driver Hatcher (Christopher Walken) and local rebel leader Mariana (Rosario Dawson) also have great interest in this statue. Travis doesn't want to leave and as Beck tries to force the situation the duo just get deeper and deeper into the misadventure.

A criminal, Beck, is sent to the Amazon to retrieve a man's son. When Beck gets there he discovers that the son is searching for a treasure. There is also a mine run by an evil criminal who is turning the natives into slaves. Beck and the treasure seeker start to look for the treasure while the mine leader and his group are hot on their trail. After they get the treasure they try to stop the evil mine leader.
