| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Batman Beyond: The Movie |
Terry McGinnis is a fairly average teenager who happens to get into a lot of fights. After one such fight, his father grounds him, but Terry goes out anyway. Not surprisingly, Terry gets into another fight and is helped out by Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne used to be Batman, but he's gotten too old to fight like he used to. After helping Bruce get his medicine, Terry accidentally stumbles upon the Batcave. Bruce kicks him out, but Terry comes back after he finds out that his father was killed. His father's death has connections to corruption in Bruce Wayne's company, and, since Bruce is reluctant to do directly do anything about it, Terry becomes determined to hunt down his father's killer himself, as the new Batman.
