| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Running Out of Time |
RUNNING OUT OF TIME is a movie directed by Johnny To in 1999. This picture earned six nominations for the 2000 Hong-Kong Film awards.
A very smart thief learns he's got only four weeks to live. He decides to provoke inspector Ho, one of the best Hong Kong negotiators, and begins to play with him a cat and mouse chase. Very good in the art of disguise, he manages to steal a diamond from a local bad guy, keeps the jewel and hands the criminal over to the policeman. At first upset by the behaviour of this unusual thief, inspector Ho will learn to respect him and to play by his rules.
