| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Naked Assassins |
The mysterious Madame M is the mastermind of a criminal organization. After her ranks are decimated, she "recruits" anew -- kidnapping young girls of a tender age and whisking them away, some against their wills. She takes them to a island where they are informed they will stay for an unspecified amount of time. The girls are trained to be killers. When they grow up, it's time to cull their ranks, which is done with a cage match. The winner will be the new assassin for the organization.
One of the film subplot explores the sisterly bond two of the girls have forged while in captivity, and the rivalry they have with a top girl in the organization.
Although the action is fast and furious, there are some exceedingly violent and disturbing scenes, in particular a gang rape.
